Which immediately gives Dolce and Gabbana a bad name as their consumers or target market would not want to support a brand that make such offensive comments. It also states that "a lot of publications, brands and even celebs like Miley cyrus have given strong opinions against him and the brands politics." As Dolce and Gabbana do have loyal consumers the impact celebrity influencers can have on their target market is very powerful making it a big risk for Stefano Gabbana to make such negative comments turning people away from the brand.

On the post after calling Selena Gomez ugly, he also commented back to a comment that someone else had posted saying she looked like a Pomeranian dog. Gabbana replied to that comment stating "ahahahah is true hahahah." Not thinking about the effect this has on his brand.

When reading this article it puts Dolce and Gabbana's reputation in a bad light which could quickly make people boycott the brand especially if they are fans of some of the people they have spoken badly about.
