Dolce and Gabbana have released very sexist ads presenting women to be the weaker sex. Showing that men are more dominant and powerful. This will make consumers that are women feel belittled. This is also Dolce and Gabbana using sex to sell however, will turn some women consumers away. Below are some ads of their sexist ads:
These ads were released in 2007 and from then to now they have not released anymore sexist ads. Presenting the brand to support gang rape.They use ads now of people being more natural including more unique pieces of clothing and settings. Some of the ads are kind of like selfies with groups of people naturally positioned smiling at the camera. This is a big improvement to Dolce and Gabbana's 2007 ads and gives a more natural perception of the brand making them more relatable to consumers.
