Dolce and Gabbana have been accused of animal cruelty. The images below are from an article explaining what they to do rabbits. Using fur for their products.

This image shows the kind of rabbits they use for their products which are called Orylag. They use there fur for their phone cases and fur on their sliders. It states in the article that many luxury brands use these kinds of rabbits for fur for their products. Throughout the article it states that rabbits are kept in cages and never seeing the light of day for months. They suffer from dehydration, malnutrition and wounds. It also says that 1 in 4 rabbits die from the stress of these conditions. It goes into more detail about how they abuse the rabbits. It says that Dolce and Gabbana continue to profit this even though though their competitors have stopped using fur such as Gucci, Armani etc.

At the bottom of the page they have a petition to try and get Dolce and Gabbana to stop using fur like their competitors. Encouraging people to sign up; building numbers to encourage D&G to stop being cruel to animals. The comment to the right is directly aimed at Dolce and Gabbana from someone who is against what they are doing. They go in to detail of how appalled they are with their actions. Asking them when they will join their other competitors in doing the same as them. They also state that until Dolce and Gabbana change their ways they will be shopping other places. This makes Dolce and Gabbana unpopular for those who take into consideration animal cruelty when shopping at brands.
