Current Consumer Demographics


This is my current perception of Dolce and Gabbana's demographic. For my current consumer demographic mood board I used images of celebrities that currently wear Dolce and Gabbana. As D&G is a designer brand the pricing of it is more expensive than the high street which makes the target market of this brand more wealthier and elite people; such as celebrities. I used Hailey Baldwins Instagram as she has previously promoted for the brand; showing she is a supporter of D&G and most likely wear their pieces. I included some pictures of holiday destinations that the target market might go on as they are more elite and have more money to do so. I decided to include the mum from Mean Girls as she was wealthy and enjoyed to spoil her children which is that typical stereotype of certain parents that would shop at D&G. I also included an image of champagne as champagne is expensive and their target market would be able to afford more expensive luxuries. I used an image of cash as the typical person shopping at D&G is more elite than the average person. I used Germany's flag and Italy's flag as this is where D&G is most popular as it was originally based in Italy and then became popular in Germany. As they don't do a plus size I wanted to include a mannequin wearing one of their outfits as the typical person shopping there would not be a plus size as they don't offer that through their ranges. I decided to use a sweet 16 sign as people refer to sweet 16 meaning spoilt teenagers which would typically have designer clothing and accessories. The combination of images relate to a tpyical person who would shop at D&G.
